But we haven't let all the talk go to our head. Even with all of our skill and recognition, we take pride in treating all of our customers like family. Some of our thousands of satisfied customers have become some of our best friends. We are family owned and operated. This means that each of our customers get the personalized customer service they deserve with the detailed services they expect.

Owner Lynn Dale Johnson was born January 23, 1964 in Clovis, New Mexico, to Sterlin Lawrence Johnson and Alta Gay Shiplet Johnson. He resided in Tecumcari, New Mexico until his family relocated to Bossier City in 1981. There his family opened A&B Muffler and Lynn worked part time until graduating from Airline High School in May, 1982. After graduation Lynn began working full-time in the family business. In the fall of 1996 Lynn and his father purchased Louisiana Offroad Supply as an additional source of revenue for their business. In 1997 Louisiana Offroad Supply became the only authorized dealer of Rhino Linings Sprayed on Bedliners.

On January 1, 2001 the name was changed from Louisiana Offroad Supply to Louisiana Truck Outfitters, Inc. This name change helped further describe the scope of the business they were building. In January 2005, Lynn and his wife, Cheri, bought out Lynn's dad and became the sole owners of A&B Muffler and Louisiana Truck Outfitters. On January 1, 2007, Cheri and Lynn merged both of their businesses into one, Louisiana Truck Outfitters, Inc. Louisiana Truck Outfitters, Inc. now does business as A&B Muffler, but all reporting is done as Louisiana Truck Outfitters, Inc.

Lynn married Cheri Lynn Landrum on March 15, 1986. They have 2 children, Colton, who now works as a Salesman at LTO, and Carson, a 2nd grade student at Calvary Baptist Academy. Lynn is a member of East Ridge Country Club where he enjoys golfing. Lynn is also a member of Business Exchange Inc., a business networking group in the Shreveport Bossier Area. Lynn attends Brookwood Baptist Church, is an ordained deacon, and has served on various deacon counsels and many committees at the church.
